Home sales in Williamson County decreased 9.3% in September 2018; however, median home prices slightly rose by 1.1% (when compared year over year), according to the September 2018 Williamson County Housing Market Report released today by the Williamson County Association of REALTORS®.

According to the September 2018 Williamson County Housing Market Report, the median home price for all residential properties was $271,000, a modest increase of 2.1% when compared to September 2017. The median price in Williamson County is 8.5% (or $28,900) less than the Austin MSA Median Price of $299,900. County is 8.5% (or $28,900) less than the Austin MSA Median Price of $299,900.

Williamson County Housing Statistics - January 2017

Round Rock, Texas – 15 February 2017 – Home sales in Williamson County increased 0.4 % in January 2017. Additionally, home prices and inventory increased over 10% (when compared year over year), according to the January 2017 Williamson County housing market report released today by the Williamson County Association of REALTORS®.

According to the report, 544 homes were sold in Williamson County during January 2017, a 0.4% increase from the year prior. The median price for Williamson County homes increased 10.4% year-over-year to $265,000 during the same period.

“Inventory is starting to increase across Williamson County. This creates more competition between sellers, and gives buyers more choices,” said WCREALTORS President Suzanne Gantner. “While the inventory is increasing, Williamson County is still experiencing price increases as due to the extremely low inventory.” continued Gantner.

Williamson County home sales drop, but prices rise in October 2016

Round Rock, Texas – 11 November 2016 – Home sales in Williamson County decreased 11.5 % in October 2016; however, home prices increased (when compared year over year), according to the October 2016 Williamson County housing market report released today by the Williamson County Association of REALTORS®.

According to the report, 773 homes were sold in Williamson County during October 2016, an 11.5% decrease from the year prior. The median price for Williamson County homes increased seven percent year-over-year to $253,000 during the same period.

Williamson County home sales increase slightly, prices rise in September 2016

Round Rock, Texas – 12 October 2016 – Home sales in Williamson County increased 3.1% in September 2016 and home prices increased (when compared year over year), according to the September 2016 Williamson County housing market report released today by the Williamson County Association of REALTORS®.

According to the report, 958 homes were sold in Williamson County during September 2016, a 3.1% increase from the year prior. The median price for Williamson County homes increased four percent year-over-year to $247,400 during the same period.
