NAR Call for Action - The National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP)

Thanks to you and your active role in the Realtor Party, the REALTOR® voice was heard loud and clear on Capitol Hill this week! (approximately 125,000 REALTORS® across the country responded to the CFA) The extension of the NFIP was passed by both the U.S. House and U.S. Senate; the extension of NFIP funding is through November 30. NAR is happy with this outcome but knows there is more work to be done for true reform to happen. NAR will continue to monitor NFIP reform.

REALTORS® should not notice any disruptions in closings of homes that need flood insurance.
