WCREALTORS Committees – Volunteer Opportunities
WCREALTORS relies on our member volunteers in the planning and implementation of networking events, educational events, community fundraisers, and governmental affairs. These volunteer opportunities are designed to benefit our members, our community and the real estate industry. Volunteer opportunities are open to both REALTOR® and Affiliate Members. Strengthen Your Connection with WCREALTORS & the WC Community! Only select the committees that you have time to actively participate in. The recommended maximum is two per year.
Board of Directors
We are always looking for members who are interested in serving in a leadership role.
By-Laws & Policy
Our mission is to provide oversight and review of the bylaws and policies of WCREALTORS (governing documents) so as to remain compliant with NAR and provide the best possible policy direction for the association.
CTXMLS Central Texas Multiple Listing Service
Our mission is to ensure that Williamson County REALTORS® remain the primary source of listing information for real estate in Williamson County, and to provide our members the best technology to assist their clients with the purchase and sale of real property in Central Texas.
Community Service
Our mission is to plan, organize, and sponsor community events that will connect our members with the Williamson County community and raise awareness of the REALTOR® Brand.
Events
Our mission is to plan events that are fun, educational, profitable, and designed to enhance awareness of the local marketplace. The events committee is responsible for securing advertisers and sponsors, as well as, the planning and implementation of the events. The events include but not limited to: Bus tours, Super Bowl of Builders and the annual golf tournament
Governmental Affairs
Our mission is to monitor, analyze and identify policies and issues that have an impact on home- ownership and private property rights at the local, state and national level. In addition, the committee is responsible for identifying and recommending candidates who support the REALTOR® Party.
Membership
Our mission is to focus on member retention, as well as, new member recruitment through member mixers and personal outreach.
Professional Development
Our mission is to develop quality and diverse educational opportunities that enhances professionalism at an affordable price, to evaluate existing course & instructors, and to make recommendations to the BOD on new programs for the benefit of our members.
TREPAC – Texas Real Estate Political Actions Committee
Our mission is to raise funds to be disbursed to Texas REALTORS® for TREPAC, to promote home-ownership, protect private property rights, discourage unfair taxation, increase political awareness, and to create a favorable business environment for REALTORS®.
